Dark Forest

Where was this photograph taken? I use the Stylish plugin for chrome to skin websites and this image is the background image for Google (because of the plugin) I chose the skin specifically because this caught my eye. So first off, great picture, second, i hope you were aware that it's been used in this manner, and of course going back to the first question, where was this taken?
